Patricia began her career as an Orthotist at Duke University Medical Center in 1979, where she did her residency became certified by the American Board for Certification and was subsequently hired as a staff orthotist. She continued her diverse scope of experience as the manager of the orthotic service at the Rehabilitation Engineering Department of Children’s Hospital at Stanford University Medical Center.

After a decision to move back closer to her family in Tennessee she was employed to head the new Orthotics and Prosthetics Department at Shriners Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She came to Floyd Brace Company in 1996 to fill the position of staff orthotist. Though pediatrics has been a continued specialty Patricia enjoys serving patients of all ages especially through inpatient services in the downtown Charleston hospitals.
