Larry Wiley, CP, came to Floyd Brace Company in 1997 from a position as Vice President of Prosthetics at Fidelity Orthopedic in Dayton, Ohio. Larry and his family traveled the world for 21 years while he was an active duty member of the United States Air Force. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the top of his class. He worked as Chief Biomechanical Engineer, Human Systems Division, at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. His graduate study was at Wright State University with classes in Functional Electrical Stimulation of the spinal cord injured, biodynamics, biothermodynamics, human anatomy, physiology, and the kinematics of motion.

He attended Northwestern University Medical School Prosthetics program. He is an American Board Certified Prosthetist. Larry is certified to fit the C-leg and Rheo Knee Units, the Proprio ankle, the Utah Arm, Otto Bock’s Sensor Hand, myoelectrics, body powered, and all hybrid systems.

Larry is active in his Church and has gone on several mission trips as a prosthetist to places like Bosnia and Guatemala.

He married his high school sweetheart, Annette, in 1974. They have three sons, Luke, Zachary, and Joshua. In addition, they have 5 grandchildren.
